Importance of the Family

In the past week I have been thinking heavily on the family unit, since i am taking a family relations class, a family foundations class, and also an English 201 class in which i am writing a 3 page paper on the family. My desire today is to express how important the family should be in everyones lives. I cant help but realize that the family is the most central and pivotal union in which any one person, on this earth, could be a part of. In reality, the family is the first place where every person gains their footing in this mortal probation. It should be a place where moral and ethical principles are taught. It should also consist of an atmosphere where we, as a human family should gain all of the tools neessary to progress and persevere in this life.

When i was young, I recall a time in which I was allowed to comprehend that my family loved me. That love that was shown then, and that is even exemplified now, is unconditional in its nature. I am grateful for that love in my life and the lessons that it taught me to prepare me for the here and now, and also for the future. Who can say that that kind of love is something that they were born and raised with? It seems to me that the more I look out into this big, wide, and vast world, the more I see that this is not the case. It hurts me to recognize that people do not have the same understanding and guidance to allow their families and posterities those same opportunities. I only wish that that same love that i was allowed to obtain then, could be a unanimous factor in all the lives of every child being born on this earth. When I see the lack of love that is portrayed by many members of the human family, it makes me sick. We have been warned by modern prophets in this day, that the disintegration of the family will bring upon individuals, communities, and nations the calamities foretold by ancient and modern prophets. So I guess the anecdote for this great dilemma is that love needs to be exemplified in every family. It needs to be broadcast by all members, and not one person needs to feel left out or in the dark in any manner. The family is important, all members are created equal, and all members need to have a say and not be persecuted for it. If some members are not old enough, then they need to be raised in such an atmosphere that when they get older, they can say without a doubt, just as I did, that "I know I am loved, and I know that that love is unconditional. The family is the absolute center for true and abiding happiness.

Disclaimer

To all who read my blogs, I want to extend a very bold disclaimer. I thrive off of the family and its most basic and important role in society. There may be times that I declare with boldness and a surety about specific roles that are played within the family. Those declarations are feelings of truth that i know in my life from past and present experience. If i offend anyone, it is not my intent to, but it is my desire for all to know that what i believe in, when it comes to the family, are principles that not only last in this life, but in eternity. I also want to declare that I am a very religious person, and a lot of my feelings relate back to how, traditionally, we are meant to live our lives. When it comes to the truth, and the concequences of actions that are portrayed in life, I am unwavering in declaring what needs to be done for us to live a more happy and abundant life. In conclusion I am very grateful for the oppurtunity to share light and knowledge with all those that desire to listen.

Hi!!!

Hey my name is Brandon!! I am a small town guy from Heyburn, Idaho. I chose to create a blog so I can post a few ideas of how families are the most important societies that we can have on this green planet called earth. I am taking a Family Relations class at my current school, BYU Idaho, and have been encouraged to proclaim to the world my feelings about life and the great blessings we have been given in it. One such blessing is the family, and their important and pivotal role in everything that we are. I am grateful for the oppurtunity that I have to express my feelings to people I know, and all those that have the slightest desire to hear. This page is kind of a get to know me page... You will hear from me soon!!
